About Sarito

Sarito Carroll received her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest acupuncture college in Boulder, Colorado. Her training was comprised of more than 3000 hours of training in subject areas including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, western pathology, and nutrition. She also completed 3 years of clinical rotations as part of her studies. Sarito is nationally board certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM, and is licensed in the State of Colorado.

Sarito's Mission Statement:

I strive to promote optimal physical and emotional health using a blend of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling. I treat the individual, not the disease, and create professional and supportive alliances with my patients. I work closely with other care providers, including psychotherapists, psychiatrists, and other western practitioners to provide my patients with well-rounded integrative medicine.

I believe in the integration of Eastern and Western medicine, and work to advance the understanding and practice of Chinese medicine within the Western medical context. I promote integration through education and research, and by applying my knowledge within the clinical context.
